Nasi Lemak

Have you ever visited Malaysia before? If you hadn't or are planning, I would like to introduce our very popular breakfast dish here, Nasi Lemak.

If you take ' nasi lemak ' , you must have it with ' sambal '.
Sambal is made from a paste consisting of onions, dried chillies, salt, sugar and anchovies plus shrimp paste. There are many variaties of ' sambal ', with either anchovy, squid, cockle or shrimp.

Other compulsary ingredients are fried ground nuts, fried dried anchovies, cucumber and a slice of boiled egg or fried egg.

When you take ' nasi lemak ', try having it with your natural spoon, your fingers. Mix the rice with the sambal thoroughly and then eat it with other ingredients. Have it with a cup of coffee.
Nasi lemak is a breakfast food. Together with teh tarik, you never need a second plate or cup of these. You are already on the go! The best nasi lemak is the creamest rice and greatly depends on the sambal.
Different cook of different races have difference preferance for taste. But its the best for them. My country is multiracial but we prefer the same food but with different ethnic taste.
So there's no one taste, okay.

Try it.
