Japanese - new friend

A few weeks ago, I have been saying to my hubby. Hubby, look at that chinese girl. Riding a bicycle every morning. It's been a long time since I've seen someone riding a bicycle in our community. I said, that's why most chinese are successful, see, this lady is biking in the street. The one and only cyclist that I can see.

Then, one lucky day, I got to know her. Little that I suspected that she's a japanese because she looks chinese just like most of my chinese friends. Fair and straight haired. She spoke fluent Bahasa Melayu and is very friendly. She did not hesitate when I asked her lots of questions. Well, it's nice to know somebody from other country. I can't afford to go there but at least I can imagine it.

I got to know her name and origin. She's from Osaka. I'll surf the internet to get some idea of life in Osaka. Meanwhile, I'm not mentioning her name. Not nice, right. If she's reading this, well, it's nice to know you and thanks for entertaining my questionaires. I hope that one day, I'll get to visit Japan.

In great pain

Everyone, I am in pain. My fingers are so painful especially the joints. There are also bumps at the bone. I AM SO SCARED. What could it be? I have taken painkillers prescribed by the doctor but it do me no good. My wrist is painful too.

How am I to write in comfort. Oh, God, please heal me. My daughter is only 5 years old and I got her only after 9 years of marriage. I finally conceive after years of treatments. I want to give her my best motherhood. Please, if you come across this, pray for me no matter what religion you are.

Met my sister

Yesterday, I went off to Kuala Lumpur to meet my sisters. It's been a long time since I last saw her. Not a year though, but it seemed years.

Kuala Lumpur isn't that busy last Friday because it was Deepavali. A celebration celebrated by Hindus and in Malaysia it is a Public Holiday. So, I guess many citizens chose to stay back home and another half must have been in the hypermarkets busying themselves.

My sister served lots of food and it was really a temptation for a diabetic me. Fortunately she understands and I managed to stick to my not that strict diet. But mind you. I  will never say no to curry. My favourite food!

While in Kuala Lumpur, I managed to take some snapshots for your eyes. Hope you'll like it.

Police recruits

Today, I saw some police recruits in the hospital doing medical check - ups. About ten of them. When asked, they are all around 19 to 20 years of age. I feel proud that there are taking the challenge. To have a job in the young age is considered very lucky nowadays. I hope they are counting their blessings and would appreciate their job. Many of their friends might still be pursuing their study and uncertain of their future yet.

Joint aches

Uhuh!! My body is aching all over especially my fingers. The joints feel like swelling but when I showed it to hubby he can't see anything wrong with it. But the pain is really unbearable especially at night.

How can I explain the pain? It sometimes feel like as if my fingers and palm are being continously poked with needle. My joints felt like they have swollen and the skin are so tight. I apply Yoko Yoko for a relief but it is just for a few minutes.

As an obese I always have problems with my knees and legs but never yet my fingers. This is something new and I am wondering what is wrong with me. Is this some kind of a clue to some other illness? oh! I pray that it is nothing serious. If you out there have any experience whatsoever, please advice me. Thanks.

Cowboy Town - A Famosa Resort Malacca, Malaysia

Hello, everyone out there. I promised to share my holiday to A Famosa Resort Malacca, right. I did remember! Phey, it was such a memorable holiday. I forgot everything back home and put my heart in this resort so that my whole family got to enjoy themselves too.

We arrived at the resort at 12.00 noon in the rain. Afraid that it might rain tomorrow and the day after, we decided to enter the waterpark as soon as the rain stops. It actually stopped and we entered the waterpark at 4.00pm till 6.00pm. I enjoyed being in the human made sea. My daughter really love it.

At 8.30pm, we make our way to cowboy town. The carnival had just started. With the red indians playing with fire, big white rats crossing the roads on the rope, galloping horses with cowboys, running away sexy ducks, cowgirls dancing, stilt walking clowns, big breasted clowns, firecrackers show and much more to amaze us all that I can see my daughter actually just opened her mouth, I guess, amazed.

The next day, we head for the animal safari. The journey in the lorry get us nearer to the wild beasts. I can see clearer how rich their fur are. We also get to watch wild wild west in the animal safari. The shootings and acting once again amazed my daughter.

Sorry, I don't want to describe everything in detail. You must visit it yourself to enjoy it. All I can say, it's worth it. I will cherish it and may visit this resort again with my mother next time.

Infertility - sharing

How long have you been married? 2 years, 5 years or even 10 years? Please, those are just numbers counted to disgrace yourself out of self pity. Did you ever count how many of these years you have survived the marriage with lots of ups and downs?

I was married for 9 years before I ever got pregnant. Not a single abortion or pregnancy in between the years. Always had been infertile with no proper menstrual pattern since teenager. Once I bled a lot, my mother thought I got naughty with a boy. Mmm.. she took me to a private clinic for treatment. I hope the doctor gave the correct diagnosis because I never care to ask. Just a teenager with nothing to hide.

But I had a very interesting life with my hubby. Sometimes we do argue but we never touch the sensitive issue like being infertile or even obese.

I take the initiative to the fertility clinic out of pity of him. Fortunately, the gynaecologist and staffs are very helpful and understanding that I followed every instruction given. All these supported me into getting pregnant. It was not an easy task anyway. It took me nearly a year of treatments with sometimes there are times I can't bear the medication before I got pregnant.

My hubby said, if we were meant to be childless it's already our destiny. When we conceived I felt that it must have been the prayers and hopes of all the people around me.

So, you out there, live your life the fullest. With child or not everyone deserves to be happy and blessed.

Nasi lemak without cucumber

Have you taken nasi lemak before? I have mention nasi lemak before and even have a snapshot of it to show you the full set of it. Just search my blog.

What I want to share with you are about restaurants around town that is even near to a market or even a hypermarket. Can you believe that I once bought a nasi lemak and it actually is without cucumber. When I asked the owner, with a non guilty face, he said, no cucumber today when I can actually see lots of cucumber being sold at a market not far from his restaurant.

What do you think of this restaurant owner and mind you, of course the charge is full as a complete nasi lemak. Is this a non direct robbery or an act of ' who cares ', but I do care. Nasi lemak taste better with a bite of cucumber. Uhuh!

Sugar drink versus milk to baby?

Gosh? I was so surprised! Today, I entered a boutique taken care by a young girl. Then I found out that she's a mother of a 2 year old baby. This I asked because she kept asking me where I place my toddler when I go out to work.

I am quite lucky. I manage to send my daughter to a kindergarden in the morning, and be taken off at the nursery later till 5.00pm at the same venue when I got back from work. The charge is onlyRM 160.00 including daily food. What's most important is that, I know that my toddler is being well taken care of.

Back to the mother just now. I was surprised when she told me, her baby no longer take milk but instead, being given sugar drink. She actually just gave her baby, sugar in water as her baby wouldn't accept milk. I said, that's not right. She can actually change her milk with other flavours, like honey, chocolate or even strawberry. I told her, she's the adult not the baby so she must decide and find answers to her child problem. To me it sounds like a neglegance.

She doesn't look like a person who can't afford a better substitute for her child. Oh! How could she.

Holland boy

Yesterday, I went to a shoes store to buy my hubby a pair of new shoes. I brought my 5 year old daughter along and imagine her voice all over the store. Running here and there. Touching anything she can and you can hear me saying no this and no that. Oh! Then suddenly I said to myself. Well, why not let her be a child and I do my adult stuff.

While looking for the perfect pair, I noticed a white boy trying on a pair of red basketball shoes. I asked him, where he's from. He said Holland. I asked again whether he's with his parents and he said yes. Then I found out that he was only 15. His face does look his age but his body is like an adult in my place.Well that was good enough for me. I like tourists. But I don't want to scare them by asking too much. I actually would want to know how different it is out there compared to my mother land. Maybe next time when I meet an elderly white tourist.

New Born Baby - just an advice to new parents

Well, congratulations! You're now a father or a mother to a tiny human being. Love your baby like you love yourself. See if it's hungry, not so difficult to know. It will lick it's lip or actually just cry out loud. You must remember your baby can't talk yet so, it's the most appropriate way for it to communicate with mummy and daddy.

Most important thing to bear in mind, new parents out there, please. Your baby can't say mummy, I'm chilling cold in the middle of the night but both of you are so fast asleep, you didn't hear me giving small cries out of coldness. So please, give your baby proper wear at night. Always wear them pyjamas, so that, it's not hot in the warm weather and when night comes, it also protect them from cold.

Make sure that your baby get enough milk as suggested. If you're feeding them with bottles always remember to tap slowly at the back of your baby to avoid milk suffocation. If you're not sure how, ask help from your doctor, nurse or the elderly. Ask what you don't know.

How about travelling? Always make sure that your baby is protected from the hot sun. Give your baby the comfort it needs and if you're turning on the air conditioning, make sure your baby wear socks.

But what I want to express most is baby comfort at night. Please protect your baby from cold.

Fruit season and fasting month

M.....m....m........so delicious, soft and tasty. Fruit season is around the corner again and I am so excited over it.

Durians, mangos, langsat, dokong, rambutans, mata kucing, cempedak and many more. Sorry, all in the local language. Durian is the king of all the fruits here. Most people from oversea can't stand the smell or taste of it but to us locals it taste so majestic and delicious. If you're not from Malaysia you should come here. Challenge yourself to have a taste of it. Oh........

Butterfly

Just now I went to the night market at around 9.00pm. Not a usual thing to see lots of butterflies flying around in the market. Looks tame and it didn't make a slight move even if your finger is near to touch it. Lots of them on the ground and everywhere flying freely.
I used to visit the butterfly farm in the National Zoo, Tasik Perdana Butterfly farm and Cameron Highlands but they are all in a net. But this is something different. I did try to take photoshots from my mobile phone but not that obvious ( dark ), so I took two photos of them ' parking ' on a van.

Proton Exora - Malaysian Car

Have you viewed anything about this car yet? It is Malaysian made. It's engine is 1.6 Campro CPS. This car is an affordable MPV for the medium waged and those whose family is of more than 5 members.

The white and black ones are really elegant and do look luxurious inspite of the lower price than other MPV within it's range. There are 7 available seats with individual airconditioning. The full spectrum comes with DVD and screen. The rest you should view the official website of Proton cars at http://www.proton.com/. I am afraid that I might give you the wrong idea. In my opinion Proton cars are excellent cars. Please do not compare it with luxurious cars. Put comfort and affordable when you think of Proton cars.I have owned a Proton Wira before which I love so much and then I switch to Proton Waja. Not because it's faulty but Proton Waja is a car for the more matured.

Proton Waja is just right for my family right now, 5 years already. The price range is affordable for me which is most important. I am looking forward to own a more matured car, of course the Proton Exora but need to save a bit more. Maybe in a 1 or 3 years time. I have fallen in love with it. To those who can afford it now, I'm strongly suggesting this car if you want an affordable MPV for the joy of travelling with your whole family member.

As for the singles watch out for Persona Elegance and the new Gen 2. Sporty look inside and out with affordable price too. The back of the car is raised. I guess that the driving feel should be sporty too. But, for me, I prefer Proton Exora. Be patient. These 2 cars are best is you're working outstation and need to travel back home every weekend to see your beloved family, especially if you need to travel at night. It's also stylish enough for lady singles.

Sleeping gowns and pyjamas

Do you wear sleeping gown or pyjamas when sleeping? I think wearing this particular uniform for sleeping is a very good disciplinary act for kids and adults alike. It's really comfortable and a sign that you are assigning yourself off from daylight activities.

No wander nowadays people seemed to be mistaking the day and night. Look at our teenagers and adults. They dressed up at night and wander around looking for fun in the night rather than sleep and rest to be prepared for another tough day tomorrow. If they were taught at childhood to dress properly when the sun goes down, they'll actually prefer to sit down with their family at the living room or just rest themselves in their dream room. That way, they will cope better with the stress in school or at work.

There's nothing wrong if you seek for fun in the weekends but how if it's throughout the week. It must be very tiring and also might disturb neighbours when going home late in the morning. Of course, I'll look through the window if a car pass by at 3.00 in the morning. It could be burglars.

I think fashion icons and designers should look into this. Design more interesting looking sleeping gowns and pyjamas. That way we can save lots of money on medical bills too.

Scared of today's teenagers

It's true. Today's teenagers are really different. Today when I drive home from work, just along my own home, a few big boys playing football wouldn't give way. It took me a few minutes to wait for them to decide to let me go with that kind of look.

Last week, I stopped because a few boys actually intentionally move slowly in front of me on their motorbikes. Not only that, they actually showed me some stunt and a few ugly grins in their face. I was so angry but there's nothing I can do. These boys might came from rich and educated family. They were proud to have motorbikes even though being underaged.

If you were to complain, their parents might actually scold you back. They never thought of the danger their sons brought to other people. Why not? These are the sons they could rely on when they need ketchup or chillis in their cooking. Hey, boy. Here, take this money and the motorbike, buy me a bottle of ketchup.

Thai Food

Have you been to Malaysia? If you have, you must have tasted Thai food. Everywhere in Malaysia, it's very easy to get Thai food. I enjoy Thai food myself because it does taste good and takes a short time to prepare. Even the cook are specially brought from Thailand. You don't have to go to expensive restaurant to savour it here.

About cleanliness, my country's district councils is very particular about it. If you get stomach ache after the food, please consider the hot chilly they used in their recipe. If you're not keen to have hot food, then, ask for suggestions because most of the food I enjoy very much are hot. Hot food is energizing. Ha...ha...

My favourite Thai food served in local restaurants :
  1. Seafood Tom Yam
  2. Mixed Tom Yam
  3. Fried kailan in salted fish paste ( kailan ikan masin )
  4. Red Beef ( daging masak merah )
  5. Kangkung ( vegetable ) in shrimp paste ( kangkung belacan )
  6. Packed egg ( telur bungkus )
  7. Steamed fish
  8. Som Tam ( unriped papaya salad - special )
  9. Ox tail soup
  10. Beef bone soup ( hot soup )
  11. Sweet Sour Fish
  12. Fish with 3 taste
  13. Water rice ( porridge - nasi air )

They cook really fast, that's why I prefer the food when I'm hungry during any journey around the country.

Thomas Cup

I am from Malaysia and of course, I am frustrated that we lost the game to China. And what crossed my mind is it was the fight between 2 chinese men from 2 different countries.

I wouldn't blame Lee Chong Wei for the lost. Nobody is to be blamed. During our chilhood we were taught of accepting lost as part of any game, so no matter how big a tournament is, we must not forget the concept. But when it comes to national importance, can't we just accept it as fate. I don't think any player wish to loose a game. It would be a shame but when you lost, you must accept that your opponent is much too strong.

When we talk about strength and will power, it is very complicated. Many things contribute to all these. Motivation alone is not enough and don't forget fate and destiny also play their role in our everyday life.

To our players, I wish to thank you for being brave to accept the participation. You are all appreciated.

Bidayuh

This beautiful
girl is wearing the Bidayuh costume. Bidayuh is one of the many ethnics found only in Kuching, Sarawak ( Malaysia ). Sarawak is a very unique land because it is full of culture varieties. If you come to Kuching, you don't have to worry about how to get to know the ethnics, because there's a Culture Village awaiting you, the mark of you completing your visit.
Also, before you get back, buy some of the colourful pen holder made with beads, a rattan basket or bag and many more. Make sure you have taste the Sarawak Laksa ( thin noodle in thick coconut milk with very nice and unique taste ) and midin belacan ( a kind of fernleaf fried with shrimp paste ).
If you want an economic flight, browse the Air Asia website and please make your booking around 6 months before your holiday for the cheapest deal. Sometimes the fare is really cheap, you can't believe it! Please, this is only my personal suggestion, through my own experience. H1N1 is around the corner again so be alert of it before you go for a holiday wherever around the globe.

Warm weather

Phew! The weather is really warm nowadays. It had been raining 2 or 3 days ago but late at night. I can feel the heat early in the morning and in the afternoon it is really unbearable. I sweat heavily and it's kinda pouring from a jug through my eyelids. When it went through my eyelids, my eyes get that tingling salty sensation.
At night I tend to make use of both the stand fan and aircond. I know it sounds like a waste of energy to you but it really is so warm. I planned to clear my porch today because it's full of unnecessary things like paints, boxes and et cetra but it's really hot out there. I get itchy skin after the sweating and really easy to get urinary tract infection. I don't want that. Maybe tonight. They say it's not nice, sweeping at night but I'll do it quietly anyway. Hu...Hu.....

Cock

We have a cock during our childhood. My mother had a few chickens including the ' cock '. My brother said it was his. His connection with the animal was so closed. I couldn't imagine how much he love the cock.

At night, he would tie a string to his toe and the other end of course the cock's feet. Can you imagine it? He said he's afraid that a snake might crawl in and eat his cock. So every time the cock make a move, he would wake up and take a look outside with a torch through the windows. It was so funny to my eyes but not him. He really want to make sure that his cock is in safe condition.

Oily face

I am not an expert but I can give some some advice through my own experience.

Are you having an oily face? Having problems when going out in the sun? My advice to you, is buy yourself a face lotion with sunblock. You should use a lotion as it is water based and wouldn't give you the shiny effect in the sun. You wouldn't want your face showering with sweat all over.

If you are using face cream, please throw it away. As it is oil based, it will make your face even oily. You may buy yourself a lotion of the same brand. To me, what's most important in choosing the product is it's compatibility with my skin. How to know this? You can experience itchy and redness on the skin or burnt like skin.

Always choose products that are near to your face skin tone so it will look more natural. Light weighted lotion gives extra comfort. To help you achieve a perfect complexion, buy yourself face mask which can be used once a week. You can choose the ready made once or the cheaper once which you need to prepare with water or rose water yourself. Avoid the sun after every treatment with mask. Wash your face clean every night. You have the option of using moisturises at night. Please remember that, dry skin aged faster than well hydrated skin.

My final advice to you is : If you can, please avoid your face from being directly exposed to the sunlight. If your face is well looked after, you might not get acnes easily. Just to share with you.

Simple Life

My life is quite plain. I go to work. Send my child to school. In the evening I go back and fetch my child. All the same the one whole week. After the holidays, my hubby said we need to slow down on spending and start to keep money again. Sometimes we tend to overspent during holidays. But it's okay. We can just spend these few months at home watching television and relax. But most of the time, we watch cartoon. Although we don't earn that much but for our simple life there's nothing more I could ask for my family except good health and happiness ever after. I sometimes wonder if I can ever go oversea like to London or New York. Just a dream but, it's okay if I can't. Just a dream. I can always watch these two countries in the television.

Words I like

  1. I like you.
  2. You have the nicest way of brightening up a day.
  3. A friend is someone who make you happy and also make you angry.
  4. May success and happiness crown your future.
  5. Life was meant to be lived and curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, whatever reason turn his back on life.
  6. The story of a dove is not important. What is important is that, one is capable of LOVE.
  7. No one can really pull you up very high, you lose your grip on the rope. But - on your own two feet, you can climb mountains.
  8. Happy go naughty.
  9. You enjoy with what you have now, you can always be happy.
  10. Try before you cry, but don't try after you cries.
  11. Those who wish to sing, always find a song.

All these are from my friends who wrote in my autograph in my school days. Such a memory. That was more than 10 years ago.

Milk and Lactose intolerance

I love milk. I swear I do, but I just can't tolerate the toilet rush afterwards. I did buy myself milk with low lactose ( not sure low or without ) but I still get the diarrhoea. At some moments it became so tiring and and I am always in a rush.

My teeeth are not feeling comfortable and my own diagnosis is that I need to consume milk for calcium. Yes, my teeth sometimes felt like they are going to depart from my mouth all together and I just can't imagine myself toothless. You are right, I am not a doctor to make my own diagnosis. Do obeses experience osteoporosis since they look like a well 'nutri' ous people, otherwise they wouldn't gain so much weight.

Anybody out there, if you have any suggestion, please drop it down, okay. It might help me and even others.

Fun Fair

Hey? There's a fun fair in town. I went with my kid yesterday. I really adore her driving the bumper car. She's good and sharp. She's only four years old. I am really proud of her. It's not that I am teaching her to be so playful but I believe that every children or toddler have the right to become kids.

I love to see her laugh her heart out. I watched her on the rides and finally we make sand arts. Oh! I really thought she had had enough for the day.

It took her like storm when her father said, " Okay, baby, time's up. " Oh, she pulled a long face and said it's not time yet. Our way back was filled with her cry and shouts. But, when we reached home, she was different. Maybe it was just the way my hubby took her by surprise.

By the way, the fun fair is the mobile type with not more than 10 rides, bumper car, ferris wheel, ghost house and games. No entrance fee and I token is only RM2.00 1 token per ride.

National Zoo ( Zoo Negara ) Malaysia

Last week, I had a visit to the zoo with my family. I paid the visit in the afternoon. We arrived around 2.00pm because the shows are at 3.00pm.

Unfortunately, the weather doesn't agree with us. As we entered the main entrance the sky changes colour to dark. It's going to be a heavy rain, I thought. We decided to take the slow train, with it's new look. Comfortable than my last visit. The transport looks new.

The driver informed us that the transport is not under the zoo management but by other company ( something to do with the NGOs - something like that ). A few minutes later, it rained, so we finished our journey in the zoo on the train. Maybe next time. However, I have few photos taken during my last visit to the zoo, last year. I like visiting the zoo. It relaxes my mind from the routine life.

Children abuse and neglegance

Nowadays, we listen to so many news about children abuse and neglegance. The news are sometimes so unbearable to listen to but it's the fact we have to swallow. Why are children being treated this way? Aren't they created to make us humans survive through times and also a prove of two bonding humans in love?

Children who are brought up properly will grow into well behaved adults. So, I think to reduce this matter, we must start to bring up our child the traditional way. Love your child since they are born. Give them all the attention and love you are determined to give and never hesitate a disciplinary manner if you have to. A proper lesson is a good reminder to a child.

At nights always remember to whisper in their ears so that it will stick to their mind. Tell them how you love them, what you expect them to be and what are their plans for tomorrow. This way, they will wake up the other day, fully motivated and know what to do with the rest of the day. Sometimes, they are actually in a blank, don't know what to do, but if you get everything organised, they will find their life meaningful and appreciated.

No matter how smart or slow your child are, please love them the same. If everyone are smart, who will do the physical jobs, and if everyone aren't smart in their studies, who will do the governance? So, everyone are special in their own ways.

If you need to pinch your child in the name of disciplining, pinch lightly , remember to ask for forginess later on and explain why you did it. Again, remember, love your child as you love yourself as they are our reflection and continuing generation. Never hurt them.

Petrosains, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

I have been to this spot and of course everything are about science plus a bit of geography and history. I went there last week with my hubby, daughter, mother and aunty. As it was my first time, I didn't expect it to be a tiring experience for my mother and aunty.

The most scary part for them are entering the black and dark capsule. The beginning journey was dark that my mother actually got shocked and screamed for light. I switched on my digital camera and handphone for light. Then, the capsule move upwards with us facing forward while climbing. And they both clinged to each other. When we finally went down the capsule for a walking journey, it was quite long and cold. We didn't standby for the cold.

We enjoy the globe of music most of all. When you put the trunk at certain part of the globe, you will get to hear the songs and language they speak. Interesting inspite of all the negatives I mention. Actually if you come well prepared and healthy, the experience should be memorable. Ha! Ha! Beware, Petrosains. I am coming soon for a better view this time around.

So if you're planning to go to Petrosains, with your aging mother and small kids, please keep them warm, bring some food and water. It's a really long journey for them. We didn't really experienced much but skipped just to finished the journey. I will go there again someday with preparations of course.

To Petrosains, please acknowledge your visitors. At least let them be prepared with full stomach and why not rent sweaters for the old? Just a suggestion. To those out there who got families from the village, why not take them here, for a new atmosphere.

Allergic. Have you got foods or environments that can cause discomfort to your total wellness in a minute? Well, that's called allergic reaction. I wasn't born that way, mind you. I started showing it in my early 20's.

The first time I noticed it was after a picnic near a river. I actually got bitten or maybe sucked by a slug. After having full stomach, the slug actually shrugged itself from me. Sorry if I explain it the wrong way. I only saw it after it got full stomach. The site never stop bleeding and my body became so itchy. My limbs got warm and itchy. Even my head was so itchy that I can't bear it. Later, my body swollen including my lips and nose. Maybe, I look like Shrek but it wasn't filmed yet at that time.

I was admitted in ward for three days following a painful drip. I said to myself that I wouldn't go near the river again but that was only a year. I later began experiencing a few series of allergic reactions. Sometimes I was given an injection because I began to look like a balloon. Then one historical day, I was given a very effective treatment. A doctor gave me an a drip and hey, it's been 6 years since my last allergic reaction. So, it was just the right time and treatment to solve the misery ( not really as bad as that, but a day of sickness is too hard to compare to a week of healthiness , believe me ). Thanks to that doctor I can now go to any dusty supermarket and savour seafoods. That's why I respect doctors. They study hard, they earn a lot but back to basics, it's really about responsibility. The wages is a mean to earn a living to satisfy self and family needs.

This flower image was taken in Cameron Highlands during my holiday with my mother, aunty, daughter, sister and hubby. The night we spent there was so memorable to me. It was so comfortable. My skin felt so nice, no need to depend on the fan or a blanket either. I was so overjoyed I didn't care about taking more photos. Maybe next time.

Happiness

Happiness is not just a phrase,
You can't buy it',
You can't just grab and take it away,
You can't just take it for granted,
It's not a physical thing,
You wouldn't know it's there,
Unless you feel it,
Deep inside.

Happiness is a smile in the face,
A reluctant heart,
With a willing to share,
To forgive and to forget,
To share the burdens and diminish it,
Never hesitate to give a helping hand,
Soft as cotton and cooling as silk,
That's what happiness is all about.

From me, from the heart.

Madagascar

My daughter really loves the cartoon movie Madagascar. She kept watching it nearly every week now. Last year she watches it every single day. The director of this movie really did his job well.

But, she also loves Upin and Ipin who speaks her mother tongue. Upin and Ipin cartoon movie is produced by our local production company, Les' Copaque. If you haven't watch it, I'm telling you, you wouldn't regret watching it especially if you have got kids at home. I as an adult actually enjoy it too.

The story is so original and you can watch it with every single family member. The characters are also so naive and innocent, you will forget about the noisy city life. Upin and Ipin are two little boys who look alike. Buy to appreciate it.

Hotel Plaza - friendly

I spent a night in Hotel Plaza, Kuala Lumpur last weekend. The hotel as usual is satisfactory. I had many returned visits to this hotel. The room is good, clean and big. The hospitality is a memory whether you are a tourist or just a domestic traveller. I notice that some hotel worker only give ' extra ' to tourist. But never the receptionists. It's different in this hotel.

I would like to thank those friendly staffs. Even though we are just a simple traveller, they still recognised us as their visitors and customers. Thanks a lot. I had a very nice stay in this hotel.

Nagoya

Thanks to Nagoya textile for the RM 2.00/metre and RM 2.50/metre sale this week. Me, my mother and my aunty bought quite a lot of those. The quality is good and even though quite undated but you gave us the opportunity to buy something with quality cheaper. So, everyone can wear textiles from your company.

I will drop by Nagoya again when I visit Kuala Lumpur. I hope you will keep up giving ' true ' sales to your customer. Chayo, Nagoya! Arigato hait!

A creepy get-away

Creepy?

We were on a just want to get-away from everyday routine that day. Without any plans whatsoever we went for a hotel or resort hunt. I ended up in a resort somewhere in Cherating. I wouldn't want to name the resort. The name was eyecatching. Per night is RM 120.00 since it's a weekday.

When we entered the room I was surprised to find that the bathroom's door is only half of it. So, you're exposed. I asked my hubby for a better room which should complify the room rate. The receptionist said there is only one other room left and they had never again give the room to any other customers. My hubby enquire whether it's haunted but they simply laugh at him and gave him the keys. My hubby mentioned these only after we check-out.

Actually this new room was also in a bad condition with vey old matresses that I can feel it actually wrecked in my every move that I kept still till morning. The bathroom door is three quarter wrecked than the previous. The room also felt creepy that I stay awoke all night.

The swimming pool was orange in colour, you can guess why. We check out early in the morning and this should be our first and the last. In fulfilling my hobby on adventure this is the worst resort hotel I have been to in my country, Malaysia. I have been to small budget hotels but they are still better.

holiday

I went to Genting Highlands last week. Not that cold so, just a perfect weather for a good time.I brought along 2 nieces and a nephew. Actually by my hubby's side. I took a two days leave. I wouldn't tell you how it was, but I really had a fun time watching them play every games they dare to try. As for me, I am not really keen on the games. I actually just watch and enjoy the cold weather. So, comfortable than the hot weather down there. The rain haven't showed up nearly a month, if I'm not wrong. My daughter was so happy and it really makes me feel the same. She loves the rodeo ride and bumper car. I think she played triple on both. Children......

My face

2 weeks ago, my toddler came back from kindergarden and eagerly wants me to learn her new song. So, there she is becoming my kindergarden teacher and stressing on every phrase and actions. Let me share it with you. Please do the appropriate action.

My face.
This is my face.
There are 2 eyes.
2 cheeks.
A nose.
A mouth.
A chin.

I can see with my 2 eyes.
I can hear with my 2 ears.
I can smell with my nose.
I can eat with my mouth.

Subhanallah. Allah cares.

I wonder why suddenly she mention the ears when in the beginning she mention cheeks. Children.......... Maybe she heard wrongly or just miss the words. I am proud of her.

For mom

I am so happy today. I bought a summer cotton blouse and a chiffon skirt for my mom last week. It looks really nice and I am pretty sure it will fit nicely into her. The blouse is in red with lots of beautiful blossom flowers and the skirt in black. The red colour would really fit her fair skin tone. The materials are so soft and light it will give an extra comfort in this hot weather.

I posted the clothes and happy to hear that things are as I expected. I am glad I made the right decision.I hope my mom will live a long and easy life. There are certain times that we are in trouble but things are much easier now. Even though we are miles away, I know deep in our hearts we are so close to each other.

Phew! I have been a busy lot making holidays theses past few weeks. Went to Genting Highlands and Bukit Tinggi ( Colmar Tropicale ). How should I describe my holidays? Rather exhausting. Can you imagine continuos and repeated play on every games? Triple horse rides, triple bumper cars and triple of et cet tras. Sleepy, will continue tomorrow.

Boring holiday

Life is so boring this Chinese New Year holiday. Imagine a 4 days holiday and my hubby's working. I don't like it a bit. I love having my hubby at home with us. But, well, that's life. We wouldn't get enough money to pay for appliance bills and monthly payments of our car and home.

We are looking forward for the Maulidur Rasul holiday. 3 days, Friday till Sunday. I hope that after this festive season, our country's economy will grain and expand greatly so everyone will have a comfortable life. To those who loose work, I hope you will soon get a new one to generate your family financially as usual. Thanks to God our country still survive through the turbulenced ( can I apply ).

Homeless To Harvard

I am watching the movie Homeless To Harvard. This is not my first time, because Astro kept repeating the movie these few years. However, I don't mind having to watch it for so many times. This movie is so motivating and touching. The life of Elizabeth is too difficult for me to handle that I think, all these years, I haven't realised how blessed my life is compared to her.

She's hungry and homeless. Fortunately there is this System that helped her grew strong and determined. She realised her potential and didn't ended up in the streets as expected by her grandfather. A hopeless man too. Elizabeth's parents are both drug addicts and are in no condition to raise their children properly. They can't even take care of themselves.

You must watch this movie rather than watching those horror movies which gives no benefit but scare the whole lot of yourself and children.

Not Happy New Year Yet

It's already a month since year 2010 but everything seemed to be in the year 2009 for me. Oh....I am quite tensed because everything's not settled yet. Two years ago were better years for me. Everything settled as scheduled at work. There must be something wrong anywhere.

Sometimes as the worker ant I know I must work as one. Do all the jobs and tasks but it's very difficult to concentrate on my work right now. Two years ago, I managed to finish my jobs and secretarial work on time. Maybe I need to be lest too friendly and talk lest. Because in the end, I am still the one hooked up on it. After all, this is my only income. I hope I can do better this year for my own satisfaction.

Mandarin Orange

This month, mandarin orange will be really famous because of the coming Chinese New Year. Today a chinese colleague bought us a box of orange. We are really happy.

I helped open the box and find that there are some rotten oranges. I took out those. The outside label of the box says its honey mandarin orange but I found the one I took are more sour than sweet.

I don't blame the seller because how was he to know and I really appreciate the oranges. My friend with all her heart bought the oranges and actually chose the one labelled honey. Thanks. I got a boost of vitamin C today. Yes! Vitamin C always comes in the form of sour liquid. Don't laugh at me.

Happy Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is just around the clock and my chinese colleagues had started applying for leaves. Fortunately, my office is now in an equal blend of races, so no problem for them to get a week leave.

As for me, I'll be expecting my chinese neighbours having a full house in their homes with relatives and siblings gathering together. I will be waiting for the tiger dance around the neighbourhood. Everyone not only chineses will be out of their home to view the tiger dance, home from home. Exciting sight to see everyone getting so interested. My neighbourhood is multi - racial. Been living here for 6 yaers already. No problem.

To all celebrating this Chinese New Year, enjoy yourself. Happy Chinese New Year.

Laptop is for games

My daughter is no longer my small baby. Usually when I need to blog, I would say mummy need to do some study. Otherwise, there she is in front of the laptop saying she needs to play her favourite game first - tortoise.

Yesterday, I gave the same reason and she gave me a look. Mummy, if you open the computer, you wouldn't study. Just say you're playing. Ooops! She understands something already. Now, I blog only when she's asleep. If not, we will be fighting over the laptop.

Body Ache And Weight Gain

Today my body aches all over. I have been travelling here and there these past few weeks to settle some papers with the district office. Though how exausting the travelling was, I still manage to gain weight. In Malaysia, wherever I travel, my other main mission is to try the other countries famous delicacies.

The variety of foods here can never vanish from my mind. During the food tasting, sometimes I find it really tasty but somehow, I also experience the uncooked spice or not properly prepared ones. Food preparation comes from the heart. You can't cook delicious food with a bad mood.

My body aches after the 10 hours travelling to and fro. I ask my hubby for a massage but he's more tired than I am since he's the driver. At last I gave up and swallow the pain killer ( ponstan ). I pass the night till morning.

Kajang Satay

Have you eaten satay before? Well, Kajang , Selangor of malaysia is very famous with it's satay especially from the satay restaurant, ' Satay Kajang '. There are many outlets around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur nowadays. During the old times maybe 10 or more years ago, you might need to travel to Kajang to savour it. I am one of those people who did the travelling just to give it a try.

A good satay must have all the flavours immersed thoroughly within the chicken or beef flesh. Now they have many other like camel, rabbit , goat and etc. They barbeque it and wet it with lemon grass soaked in oil and whatever the secret recipe. When eaten, the meat should be tender and watery and the smell is just so inviting. Have it with the peanut gravy or sauce specially prepared.

They would also serve the satay with cuts of cucumbers and onion. Writing about it makes my mouth watery. I love satay. Before you go to any satay restaurant make sure you're really empty in the stomach and please, no sweets especially with mint flavour. All these will lessen your taste bud.

I am writing my very own experience and trust me, it's really tasty when served just out of the barbeque. I don't recommend cold ones, okay. Happy eating.

I saved myself from Trojan

Phew!!!! I saved my blog from Trojan just now. Thanks to blogger help I actually found the solution. I deleted all the gadgets and manage to save my blog. From now onwards I wouldn't want to give too much decorations to my blog. Wouldn't want to harm anyone who viewed my blog. Even dangerous to myself. I might lost my laptop which I didn't buy by saying oh, tomorrow I want to buy myself a laptop. no, it took me few years to experience this technology.

Actually everything worthy I owned are targetted for a few years before I actually own one like my car and home. There are somethings I need to sacrifice like my hobby which is travelling and entertainment. By that, then I can save some money for the deposit. But, it's all worth it. It became so precious, you know.

dissappointed

Oh, I am quite dissappointed today. Actually I am not very good in computer terms and in reading ' terms and conditions apply ' . Here I am today out of innocence have missed the chance to add some income to my account. Maybe I am not born to become a ' bit ' wealthy. Actually I never dreamt of wealth but am just trying to feel the breeze of it. But even a breeze is not destinied to me. Oh, well, I'll just type in my life experiences out of my keen into writing. Maybe one day I may gain something extraordinary but not now. I will just go to work as usual. Actually, my monthly income is already enough for a simple me. But I've tried writing just to see if I can earn something out of it. Not my luck. I should have read all the terms and conditions but, I just can't understand it through reading alone.. It's like learning without a teacher. I got lost. Couldn't understand the terms of law. I'm not a lawyer. Maybe not brilliant enough.

Here I am , at six o'clock in the morning, still thinking about you.............and I know that in time...........

Blood Donation

Have you donated blood? It is a very priceless act but someone else out there gets the benefit. All you can expect is to loose your blood and a little bit of refreshments.
That's why it's called a donation.

I have seen those who donated more than 50 times. They are just the same like us but they have something extra in their heart. They are different because they care in such away and you can see in their eyes how sincere they are. There is a 55 year old teacher I knew who donated as much but he's so down to earth.

Tuesday 5 January 2010

Half boiled egg

My daughter love having 2 half boiled egg for breakfast. The way she have it makes me swallow my saliva. Looks just so tasty and yummy.

Usually I flavour it with soy sauce ( salty ketchup ) and a drizzle of white pepper. Simple breakfast for the start of the day.

Monday 4 January 2010

Post Accident

The accident was still a tragedy I just couldn't let it pass just like that. We made a post mortem and a real discussion. All that really matters to me is my daughter. So please all of you out there. If you think you're sleepy never attempt to sacrifice anything. Just find a safe spot and give yourself time to relax or just take a nap. It wouldn't hurt anybody.

My car is yet to be ready. What does it matter? It is just a metal.

Sunday 3 January 2010

Accident

I was fast asleep. Suddenly I felt my car moving in such an awkward condition. We are on a highway and the route should be smooth and easy. I opened my eyes to see that the front side window was already smashed but still attached because it adhered to the tinting.
I shouted and it actually woke my hubby who was actually driving. Can you imagine falling asleep while driving? Fortunately, my daughter was busy playing by herself at the rear seat. It happened so fast, my hubby quickly gain control over the car before it could crash into a worst condition.
So, never drive if you're so sleepy, because you might create a hazard or get yourself into it.
